At the little time of having begun their activities, I had the opportunity to visit Julio's shop Ruelas in the city of Zacatecas. My name is the attention the modesty of their facilities, understandable situation for the little economic support that this project received from the cultural authorities. This never made diminish the activity and the enthusiasm of the small group of youths that there learned in the action and in it criticizes it collective the occupation of the engraving. The tórculos existed alone thanks to the generosity of the painting Kept Ismael. The traditional materials that are used to record are expensive: you laminate of copper, sophisticated cared papers, instruments and inks, however the production was plentiful when it didn't reach for the copper sheets of irons or cardboards they were used, the inks fed at two or three colors were printed many times in paper of estraza etc. The results were surprising in relation to the used methods. The experimentation and the invention of new methods was indispensable.

There I met works of Dale, of Mónica, of Nacho and other but. But from that moment I get myself the attention the work of Nacho he/she will See of the one who to followed their trajectory. At some time we have exhibited together like in the collective of painting zacatecanos in the Michigan Galery of Detroit in 1989. Now I have just seen the exhibition Ignacio he/she will See Ponce. The Great Road that you presents in the museum Goitia of Zacatecas and at the moment in the gallery of the seminar of Mexican Culture in the city of Mexico. This work integrates it 20 graphs carried out among 1994-1996.

When visiting this sample the first impression that the spectator receives it is of being before a series of reliefs policromados and the surprise begins observing that these works could classify them as engravings that it is graphic work., that is to say that previously it exists a badge or mold on which the ink is placed and then a humid paper that is pressed on this to achieve the impression in the way and the color. But in this case it is not small incisions in a plane but I eat I already said from true high reliefs to such a degree that stops their presentation it is unavoidable to use boxes. Let us don't forget that the box is in if an elected modality for important artists of the contemporary art.

To achieve these works Ignacio he/she will See had had to invent a complex technique: the irons (molds are taken a bath and combined, hollowed wood, plasters, burdened in metal, waters inks and strong waters, etc. And the papers according to their own confession are recycled and enriched with mixture of fibers, in any fiber but especially they are notorious the magueyes prints and nopals that in if they play an important list for their aesthetic use.

A work of art who carries out it to take place it should possess an I magnify occupation, all creator should invent his own way to work, his materials, to be a teacher of his own occupation. This condition completes it thoroughly, thanks to its great inventativa and wealth of resources undoubtedly being faithful to its step for the shop Ruelas, to Look for and it achieves a good result with the help of work and imagination.

Formally the works of he/she will See they belong to the world of the abstract thing, that is to say their main intent this in the world of the aesthetics. The composition, the stain, the color doesn't correspond to works that you/they imitate the appearance of the nature but rather they seek to be nature in if same. This quality this accented one with the insert of taken fragments of the reality, like they can be the constants use of the thorn, or elements of the human body, molds of things that they exist.

If I said that they are abstract works, it is necessary to understand this I finish in their initial meaning: art of the real thing.
